Airways Magazine Hollywood reporter features Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Snooping around a backlot, the Airways Hollywood reporter discovered a Boeing 767 cockpit section being used for an ABC Television series called Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (‘S.H.I.E.L.D’ being the acronym for the fictitious Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement and Logistics Division). Closer scrutiny revealed that the cockpit is the work of Scroggins Aviation of Las Vegas, Nevada,  and is from the former Japan Airlines 767-300 msn 23215 (JA8236). The flightdeck yokes have ‘SHIELD’ logos, and new glass displays reflect the show’s use of a computer graphic of a six-engine Boeing C-17A Globemaster III, with the additional powerplants mounted on the tailplane (yes, this is Hollywood).
