In Project Blue Book, Scroggins Aviation Mockup & Effects supplied a helicopter mockup for the making of the History Channel series. It is shown here at a Vancouver, Canada sound stage where it was placed on a wooden deck (set) to simulate a U.S. Navy battle ship.

Project Blue Book (season 2 episode 10) was released on March 24th, 2020.  Look for it on the History Channel website.

In Black Lightning, Scroggins Aviation Mockup & Effects supplied the CH-47D Chinook helicopter (90-00204) for the making of the CW network television series. The Chinook is shown here on the backlot in Atlanta, GA., for season 3 episode 13.

Black Lightning season 3 episode 13 first aired on Feb. 10th, 2020 and can be watched on the CW network online.

Our crew at Scroggins Aviation would like to thank the producers for giving us the opportunity to work on Jumanji: The Next Level and for supplying them with our Russian made Antonov An-2 biplane for the making of the film.  

Scroggins was contracted by the producers to supply the An2 and make several changes to the airframe. Our team made these changes by cutting down the bulkhead wall between pilots compartment into the main cabin, added two wild (removable) fuselage wall side panels for ease of camera angles, painted the interior and exterior, added several functional cockpit gauges in the instrument panel which would work on command by an operator, wild windows and assisted with special effects in the underbelly drop down ramp which the Jumanji characters fell from during the scene.

 

Jumanji: The Next Level was released in theaters on December 13, 2019.  It is now available on Blu-ray.
