DC Comics film Blue Beetle uses Scroggins Aviation’s helicopter.

In DC comics film, Blue Beetle. Scroggins Aviation’s UH-60 (79-23354) Black Hawk was transformed in the rear cabin with a high-tech interior, including a Ray Gun that would drop from the ceiling of the Kord Heli-craft depicted in the film. Only the interior cabin and cockpit were used for the scenes. While the interior was used in the film, a digital model of Scroggins’ Black Hawk was also featured alongside the Kord Heli-craft in the film.

The entire team at Scroggins would like to thank the producers for giving us the opportunity to work on the film.

In the film, On a Wing and a Prayer starring Dennis Quaid and Heather Graham. Scroggins Aviation supplied the King Air 200 shown here during the making of the film, with a few additions made to the plane. A removable cockpit, windscreen structure with instrument panel and fuselage skin panels on both sides.
